![]() ![]() When you compare this to other offerings this year like BG3, which is the same price and offers innovation and 15 times more game time, the asking price for this is a joke. The visuals are nothing special, it does suffer frame-rate drops. They could have even tried things like Robocops controls get messed up and everything is reversed for a mission ie up is down, left is right etc, or his aim is off for a mission, just to mix it up a bit. Honestly, these arent game-changers but are nice quality-of-life upgrades like higher damage, the ability to. The lack of innovation in the combat shows a lazy attempt to push out a game that lacks for what is being asked to buy it for. Rogue City does include a progression system where you can upgrade RoboCops skills. The combat is fun to a point, but its not enough to carry the rest of the lacklustre game. If this had come out 15-20 years ago, it would be classed as a Masterpiece, but its 2023, and the game lacks in all areas except one. You revisit the same neighbourhood area 8 or 9 times in the play through, so it becomes old rather fast with the lack of diversity. ![]() The game will take about 12 hours and nearly half of that is spent out of combat walking around the same small areas, and talking to people about rather boring un-engaging topics. For it's current price, I can't recommend it.
